WING DMCC is courier marketplace acting as an aggregator of shipping service companies that provides the most innovative mobile and web-based user-friendly delivery booking services to the market. We currently offer our services throughout UAE. We are expanding into KSA and Egypt to offer last mile solutions to the market. We have recently been acquired by Amazon and will continue to be key player in the shipping industry by filling the gap in Amazons demand for last mile solutions at the same time providing solutions to other delivery customers in the market.


We are looking for an experienced and qualified professional to fill the vacancy of Regional Supply Chain Manager based in Dubai. It will also implement, monitor, review, and evaluate contracting arrangements with all suppliers. You will be the main focal point for building Last Mile, Middle Mile, First Mile logistics capacity across Middle East managing teams across countries.

Key Responsibilities


Ensure consistent build of Last Mile capacity by working together with existing suppliers and onboarding new suppliers.
Take charge of supplier service quality by monitoring the metrics, trouble shooting the issues, training suppliers’ teams on Wing technology adoption and SOP implementation by running the supply chain QC, training teams with positive leadership.
Ensure that vendor costs are properly understood and within the contract budget.
Ensure that appropriate contracts are in place with all suppliers that properly manage the company’s risk.
Scrutinize areas for cost saving and Strive to achieve consistent savings on all vendors.
Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers as per SOP and agreement.
Oversee delivery service provider and commercial carrier selection and evaluation
Conduct commercial evaluations of supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with the cost targets and propose the business for optimum volume allocation for the capacity built.
Recruit, manage, train and mentor training executive and implement KPIs for the team and ensure continuous personal development programs are in place.
Formulate strategies, establish policies and procedures for the development or enhancement of the company’s Supply Chain.  
Manage in locating and selecting potential delivery service providers and commercial carriers. Publish competitive bids and proposals to prospective bidders subject to project specifications, terms & conditions.
Acts as an escalation point in all supplier payment issues and disputes with suppliers.
Engage with suppliers to emphasize the importance of Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment in all our business transactions


Desired Skills

8+ years in the courier and logistics industry
3–4 years of team management experience
At least 1 year experience in the e-commerce shipping, warehousing market
Relevant professional qualifications
Negotiation, tender and strategic sourcing experience
At least 1 year of Middle East working experience is preferred.
Persuasive negotiation skills
Should be numerically and analytically strong.
Capable to make logical and informed decisions
