Regional Manager for Learning & Development

  • Manage a portfolio of technical, functional and behavioral continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish and gain adoption of regional talent development standards
  • Ensure consistency in the deployment of core on-boarding, training, and development programs
  • Leverage internal feedback and external benchmarking for ongoing talent development needs analysis
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and application across regions
  • Lead a team of four Regional Learning Program Managers, directing the design and deployment of functionally unique learning solutions
  • Lead a dedicated team of Leadership and Associate Development professionals throughout the region in a fast-paced, do it whatever it takes environment
  • Ensure operational effectiveness in delivering core programs to thousands of participants each year
  • Establish lean processes and a customer-centric approach to the learning experience
  • Invent new and innovative approaches for delivering programs in a rapidly growing organization
  • Analyze the audience, content, technologies, operational constraints, and trade-offs associated with delivering the most impactful solutions for a highly ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a willingness to be vocally self-critical
  • Earn a seat at the table as a business problem solver with some of top operational leaders in history


  • 10+ years of experience in the areas of general management, leadership development, organizational development, group facilitation, and training design
  • Proven experience with the design, development, implementation, and measurement of classroom, self-directed online and virtual synchronous learning solutions that positively impact the business
  • Program management skills, including managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
  • Experience with large scale portfolio/program/project management
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using and presenting data to make decisions
  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as business, education, instructional design, organizational development, or equivalent experience
  • Up to 50% travel required
