Category Manager - Beauty

Planning and designing the Cosmetics category with focus on sub-categorization and range planning with an aim to ensure full assortment coverage with full availability
Responsible for New suppliers and New Brands acquisition.
Responsible for direct brand management & brand servicing
Devising the category plan to achieve the defined targets within the specific timeframe
Management of supplier and vendor networks, driving merchandizing, sales strategies and providing leadership direction to the category team
Cross function role:
Responsible for leveraging synergies with other SBUs
Responsible for ensuring cross functional support for the category
Responsible for category’s inclusion & representation in all the new cross functional project
Overseeing the organization structure for the Category
Responsible for training & up skill of the team members
Responsible for showcasing strong leadership & intrapreneurial activities within the category
Seeking highly qualified candidates who are strategic thinkers and execution-oriented MBA Preferred.
Between 2-4 years of work experience in the Middle-East Cosmetics Industry – Buying/Merchandizing/Planning/Business Management. This is Mandatory.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience of managing cross functional and multicultural teams
Candidates must be entrepreneurial, intelligent, and self-motivated professionals
Deep understanding of and passion for E-Commerce required
Previous responsibility for strategic development, product management or product marketing, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable
